Water retention and heat cause fingers to swell, while cold temperatures do the opposite. Fingers also constrict in the morning and swell as the day continues. For an accurate measurement, measure the ring finger at the end of the day. Measuring in the morning means the ring might be too tight as the finger swells later on.
The ring should glide over the knuckle easily and fit snug, yet comfortably, on the finger. Remember, the thinner the band, the tighter the fit should be. Ideally, your partner should visit our showroom for an in-person measurement, otherwise, please obtain the accurate measurement before shipping the ring to us. Round trip shipping fees are dependent on the value of your ring. We will email you a prepaid FedEx reverse shipping label, insured for the ring value. You must complete the emailed Reverse Shipping Authorization form and include it with the package. You will receive an alteration ticket when we have the ring. Keep in mind that it takes 5 to 7 business days for ring resizing services.

Going to another jeweler for ring resizing (or any alteration) voids your warranty. Clients who provide sizing confirmation remotely might incur additional re-sizing fees if the alteration is at least one size different, in either direction, smaller or larger, from the original measurement.
Design and specific discrepancies determine the related charges. We cannot alter, exchange, or refund eternity bands. Additionally, we are not liable for fit variations when ring size is provided remotely. We do not recommend resizing more than once. Doing so weakens the band and alters the setting, which could loosen the diamond(s) to the point that it/they fall(s) out.

No, we do not alter or resize eternity bands once they are finished and shipped out. Eternity bands are treated as custom orders and thus do not qualify for return or exchange. If you like the appearance of an eternity band but are not 100% of finger size, we recommend a three-quarter band as these can be resized.

If you find that you are between two sizes, opt for the larger size. For one, if you ever get hot or swollen, you won’t have to worry about your ring being too tight. Additionally, having a ring that is too tight can not only be uncomfortable but dangerous as it can get stuck! Besides, there are much easier ways to make a large ring fit more snugly than having to resize a ring that is too small.

Yes! If you come into our Manhattan Showroom, we have different sets of sizers for men and women, but if you are a remote client, both men and women can use the try-at-home plastic ring sizer tray for an accurate measurement!

Yes, the more coverage the band has of your finger, the tighter it will fit. Additionally, stacking rings may also affect the size of the ring you will need; if the ring is not going to sit at the base of your finger, you may need a larger size.
